Maybelline False Lash Volume Express Review + Giveaway

Hello Everyone..Happy Easter Day :) 

Today i'm going to do a simple review on Maybelline False Lash Volume Express and I'll be having a mini giveaway..That right..:) you heard me right..After so long, I finally organize a small giveaway..1 X Maybelline False Lash Volume Express..:)

I bought this mascara one month ago and only manage to try it out just recently. The reason most of us buy mascara is to have longer lashes so that our eyes look more bigger and charming and of course the lashes have to appear natural :) Usually when I look at the mascara advertisement, the first question that come into my mind is, " Did they wear false lashes as it looks so natural on the lashes for a mascara.. " 

So here I am again, buying another mascara ==". 

Here's the brush inside the mascara. The mascara contain tiny fiber to help to lengthen our lashes. The tip of the brush is slight smaller than the middle and i usually use the tip of the brush to apply my lower lashes..

This is me before applying the mascara. 

After applying Maybelline False Lash Volume Express. The lashes appear thicker, longer and more visible. It doesn't appear to chunky. Before applying, you still need to curl your lashes with eye curler. Well, I wouldn't say it appear very natural but it still help to lengthen and slightly thicken my lashes. Overall i wasn't disappointed with the function of the mascara and would give 3 star out of 5 :)

Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner Review

Hello Everyone...Today i'm going to do a simple review on Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner. Actually i got this eyeliner since last year from Modbox but didn't manage to use it until just recently. I'm a fan of liquid eyeliner and most of the time i couldn't find the type I want so i just keep buying and experiment.  Inside my drawer I have quite a few liquid eyeliner. =="

But I could say, the moment i use this eyeliner, I just fall in love with it. I love the density of the black it gives out and it's easy to apply. I like the thin brush because it helps me to easily create my winged eyeliner. 

Apart from that, it's waterproof. But usually i would apply Urban Decay eye primer before applying the eyeliner just to make sure its really smudge proof as I have really oily eyelid. The eyeliner can last thru whole day without touch up even after i wash my face in the afternoon. The only thing that you need to be careful is after applying the eyeliner, you might need to wait a few second for it to dry.

This is me after applying the eyeliner. Overall , I would highly recommend this eyeliner if you are looking for darker density and waterproof eyeliner and unless you are use to apply liquid eyeliner as if you are new to makeup, you might need to start off with pencil first before going for liquid as you might have hard time to control the brush. :)

My Haircut at Hair Impression Salon & Academy Penang Times Square

Hello..Good day to everyone :)

Today I would like to share with you all one of my favourite hair Salon in Penang. This is not a sponsored post. It's purely based on my experience and I would like to share this great place with my readers. 

I moved to Penang four years ago and have been switching hair salon throughout these four years. I couldn't find a hair salon that have good service and provide good haircut until I found Hair Impression Salon at Penang Times Square. I started going to this salon one year ago and I just can't wait to share with you how good is the service at this salon. It become one of my husband favourite hair salon as well. 

My husband and I went there for a haircut last weekend. I went there to trim my hair and get rid of my split end. I'm trying to keep my hair so that during my confinement, I can just tie up my hair into a bun without them getting in to my face as you know during confinement we are not allow to wash our hair for one month. I've natural curly hair. So if  I cut my hair short and I can't tie it, I can't imagine how I going to live thru the one month. 

Anyway, the reason I'm stick to this salon is that, the price are not so expensive. For my haircut, it was RM 40 and my husband is just RM 30.  Usually other salon would charge us two price , one price for the haircut and if we want hair wash at the chair, they will charge separate price for the hair wash. This price include full service of hair wash and head massage at the chair. The head massage done by the hairstylist is really nice. I fall asleep twice during my last haircut. After hair wash at the chair, during the wash off, they also done a little massage. How good is that.. you tell me..^^ 

I always stick to senior stylist and I choose Nick as my hair stylist. Although most of the time I maintain my hairstyle and just went there for a trim, after the haircut, Nick will always try to blow or style different hairstyle for me after my haircut. My hair is natural curly and thick, so usually after the wash, the curl would be really stubborn to be straighten up unless you use hair straightener or really blow dry it. They even help me to straighten my hair without extra charges !! At last week haircut, Nick help me to volume up my hair after the haircut by blowing a natural curl hairstyle for me. I like the hairstyle very much.

Overall, I'm very happy with the service at Hair Impression and would highly recommend this hair salon if you are looking for a nice hair salon in Penang :)

My Lunch Order with FoodPanda

Hello everyone ...:) Chinese New Year and Valentine has just pass...Hope you have a nice holiday and Valentine :)

This year Valentine falls on Friday which is working day :( . My husband and I didn't really plan for any dinner on Valentine as it's will be jam to went out and most of the restaurants are reserved. So we plan to celebrate our Valentine on Saturday. Our plan is to have simple lunch at home and have our dinner at restaurant. 

My husband spend the whole morning painting the unused dresser which we get it from his father friend. We could use the dresser to keep our baby clothing :) Save up a lot of  money from the refurbish. I was too lazy to cook for our lunch and the weather outside is super hot.. so I choose to use online food delivery service which I just need to order online and wait for the food to be delivered to our house. It would save up a lot of time and I don't have to clean up my kitchen. 

Have you heard about Foodpanda ? I kind of found out about this food delivery service while surfing the web a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time i'm using this service. Foodpanda is an online food delivery portal which we can order food online from the restaurant in Malaysia and get it delivered to our house. They have more than 300 restaurants such as Sushi King, Kenny Rogers, TGI and etc to choose from. 

Since my husband is working so hard for the dresser, I'm thinking of giving him a nice treat for lunch :) The steps for ordering is simple. Before ordering, it's important that you sign up first as this is where you would key in your address for the delivery man to deliver the food to your house. 

Once you sign up, you just need to key in which city you staying in Malaysia and where is your house location. For me, there's a couples of restaurants near to my place. We have Kenny Rogers, TGI, New York Burger, Xuan Xin restaurants, Morganfields..and etc.

:) I choose TGI because it's been a long time since we went to TGI for the steak and my husband is the fan for steak. Once you selected the restaurant you want, click Go to Menu. 

It will display a lists of menu from you to choose from. The ordering time start from 11 am. I order 2 set of Ribeye steak from the menu. Upon ordering, it will display the total amount you need to pay including the delivery fee and 6% Goverment tax. Upon confirming the order, you click Preorder/Order. 

You can choose for them to deliver the food to your house or you can went to the restaurant for pickup. Well the main purpose i'm using the ordering service is I'm lazy to went out, so definitely I'll choose for delivery to my house :). Once you place the order, they went sent a verification code to your handphone. Key in the verification code to finalize the ordering. Within 30 minutes, they will call you to confirm the ordering. Usually it will take 1 hour for them to delivered the food.

I completed my ordering at 12.30 pm and around 12.50 pm, I received a call from Foodpanda to confirm the ordering. I estimate to receive my food around 2.00 pm. But after waited for 1 hours plus, the food has not yet arrive. I manage to get thru Foodpanda hotline around 3 pm to confirm my ordering and asking why izzit taking so long.  They says the food is on the way..I was like " What ? " The restaurant is just 30 min away from my house, why would it take so long. Anyway, delivery guy arrive with the food  around 3.30 pm..=="""" which is way off my estimation time. Just in case you wandering, the delivery guy is from Foodpanda but the packaging of the food is done by TGI.  Tada** this is how they pack the food. 

When I receive the food, the steak is still warm but the vege, herb rice and the smash potatoes are cold. :(. Anyway I like the way they pack the food. At least the food are not all messed up. They have the aluminium foil to keep the steak warm. After waiting for so long, it's time to dig in :) The steak is nice and my husband enjoy it very much  :) I didn't regret ordering the steak but regret ordering the vege as side dishes == cuz it taste weird. 

Overall, I think the food ordering service is easy to use but it take longer time to deliver the food that what they have stated in their website. The service did save me a lot of hassle to drive out  for food take away especially under the hot weather and I can avoid all the jam. At the same time we can still do our house core while waiting for the food :) 

From time to time, if you check at the website, there will be new restaurant added. As I remember I checked the website couples weeks ago, we only have starbucks, 7Eleven, Morganfield, but this week, new restaurants are added to the lists which provide me with more lists of food to choose from. I'm looking forward for more restaurant to be added in and hope they can improve more on the delivery time. :) Another thing is that they have an apps for iOS and Android iphone. We can directly download the apps and order it from our mobile anything we want.

Win Soon Cafe 亚顺生虾鱼头米

Hello Everyone :) Happy New Year 2014 and Happy Chinese New Year...

During the Thaipusam holiday, I manage to went to KL for a few days trip...Went there to do some shopping and eating ;) During my trip, I manage to went to Win Soon Cafe in Kuchai Lama to try their famous Fresh Prawn Fish Head MeeHoon.

My husband highly recommend it as he try it several time during his business trip to KL. He say it was really nice especially the soup that go with the big prawn. I was like " Really nice mer??" So I insist to go there to try it myself  during my trip to KL this time..ahaha

I reach there around 3 pm and the place is not so crowded. I think it's because pass lunch time which I think is good as  I don't think I can wait too long as I was super hungry that time. 

I like the supervisor  that working there as she is super nice and friendly..She pass us the food catalogue and in just a few second, she come to ask what we want to order. 

We order two bowl of Fresh Prawn Fish Head Meehoon, Veges and Fried Long So Prawn Ball.

In Just a few minutes, the food come. It was fast. :) 

I love the soup so much..the flavour of the soup is just perfect. The smell of the alcohol is not too light or too strong. But I'm not sure whether they put the normal xiao xing wine or the XO wine..ahah..but it's just nice.. the prawn is super big..keke..I like the fried fish head as well..It's well fried and cripsy though it don't have much meat. The price for one bowl of Fresh Prawn Fish Head Meehoon is RM 18.80. It's a bit pricey for a meehoon but I think it's because of the prawn. 

As for the Vege and Fried Long So Prawn ball, I would say the Vege (RM 5.80) and the prawn ball (RM 8.50)  are just normal. Nothing special..haha..I would highly recommend to try out the meehoon. They have other flavour as well..Tomyam flavour but I didn't see many people order the Tomyam..So I'm not sure how it;s taste. 

Overall, I think the Fresh Prawn Fish Head Meehoon is nice and would go try again when I went to KL next time :) 4 out of 5 for rating of the Meehoon.

Jelly Bunny at Gurney Paragon Penang

The second outlet of Jelly Bunny store in Penang has open at Gurney Paragon and I was happy to be invited by Jelly Bunny to join their grand opening on 23 November 2013. The store open at 10 am but when I reach there around 9.30 am, there's a long queue of people queueing in front of the store to redeem their free Jelly Bunny shoes. :) The shop is colourfully decorated and well organize. The staffs are friendly as well.

Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Crazy Tint Stick

Hello all..Happy Malaysia Day..:) Hope everyone are enjoying their holidays. Today I'm back with a simple Tint Lipstick review. This product is Tony Moly Cat Chu  Wink Crazy Tint Stick. I bought it at Tony Moly store in JB when I went there to visit my sis and my lovely nieces. I don't quite remember the price ( it might be around RM 38 to 40 plus ) as the price was discounted using my sister Tony Moly member card. I was looking at the lip stick counter and found this product while waiting for my sister to buy her compact powder. Out of curiosity, I try out the tint stick and I was amaze it with.

There are three colours for the tint stick and I choose the blue one as the blue one gives out a light pink colour when apply to your lips. 

This is how it look inside. Don't be surprise by the colour. :) It changed colour upon application on lips or skin. 

This tint lip stick glide smoothly when apply to my lips and it act as moisturiser lip balm for my dry clapped lips. The colour is not too bright and its give out just the right pink for my lips. It has just a slightly melon scent.

This is after applying the tint lip stick with two swipe. If you apply a few more swipe, it will be more pinky but somehow from this picture, I'm not sure why it look like a bit of purple colour.. ==""

The colour can last for three to fours hours even after eating and drinking which is good. Overall I like this product and wear it almost everyday when going to work  ♥♥ ♥
